Solar Panel Installation

If your roof looks promising and you are considering choosing your Engensa, here is how the process tends to go:

STEP 1 Introduction

The very first thing is for one of our solar experts to talk you through the benefits of solar PV and answer any questions you might have about the process and (if you have any) about Engensa and why we feel we are really well placed to help.

STEP 2 Assessment

We will come and assess your home and design a tailored system to fit your family's needs. This allows us to provide a transparent and detailed quotation explaining exactly how much money your solar system will generate and how much carbon you will save.? This is another good opportunity to ask any questions ( and yes, they can be the same ones again if need be..)

STEP 3 Installation

An Engensa installation team will come to your home for two days and secure the panels to your roof using specialised steel brackets, wire the panels into an inverter which chances the Direct Current (DC) into Alternating Current (AC) which you can use in your home, installs a meter to measure exactly how much you generate and finally connects the whole system to your fuse box from where the electricity can flow into the grid or into your kettle!

STEP 4 Commissioning

Finally, we thoroughly test the system and talk you through how each of the components work. After that we take care of everything from sorting out the paperwork to making sure you get the Feed-in tariff and telling your local grid operator that you will be generating electricity and exporting it into the grid. You will also get a handover pack anticipating any questions or concerns that might come up when we have left, but we are also at the end of the phone and frequently in the area, and happy to pop in.
