Graduates (London): Immediate start

We are looking for two new graduates to join the team in our Acton office. You will begin life as a screener, learning how to evaluate roofs for solar systems, handling customer enquiries and managing the surveyors diaries. Within weeks you will be an expert in what roofs are right for solar panels, and be able to explain the technology and how the numbers work in terms that our customers can easily understand. This is a role that can grow with you, or, as your expertise grows, you may prefer to switch across to our project management or surveying teams. But you need to learn first and prove yourself a competent screener, so here is the initial focus of your role:

Role description

Screen incoming enquiries for free solar installations
Filter out any roofs unsuitable for solar or disinterested customers
Handle customer enquiries via telephone, email and CRM database
Optimise conversion rate to survey through fast response, excellent customer service and a growing insight into which leads will convert into sales
Progress leads through to sales team by scheduling appointments for surveys efficiently and keep in very regular contact with sales team to maximise the number of (successful) visits per week
Communicate key benefits and principles of how solar works to customers and create sensible expectations on return on investment savings, process and timescales
Feedback regarding quality of leads to managers and lead sources as appropriate

Person Spec

Educated to degree level ideal, renewable energy/engineering degrees are ideal but not essential
Articulate, well spoken and with a clear phone voice
Enjoy chatting with customers, excellent phone skills
Meticulous attention to detail
Comfortable with computers and databases and measurements
Thrive in a busy, dynamic work environment
Adaptable, open to constructive feedback, committed to improving work processes
Strong work ethic, enthusiastic and a fast learner
Goal oriented and well organised

Salary: £18,000
